(PRWEB) November 27, 2005 -- John Sullivan OBE, the writer of some of the best sitcoms in the last 30 years, is famous for one of the most loved treats round the end of the year - Only Fools and Horses Christmas Specials with its peak in the 1996 Episode "Time On Our Hands" watched by 24.3 million.
It's well known that Only Fools and Horses is on hold, though a visit to the Only Fools and Horses Appreciaition Society - http://www.ofah.net , shows its certainly not forgotten. John sullivan though has kept the characters alive by producing a very popular spin-off, The Green Green Grass.
Del and Rodders are no more but John Sullivan's spin off, The Green Green Grass, is proving a fine successor and its first BBC1 Christmas Special will indicate just how much appeal it has.
Boycie (John Challis) and Marlene (Sue Holderness) are settled into their new life on Winterdown Farm and have a chance to become part of the country set at the agricultural ball.
