Virtual Assistance U Names New Expert Coach for Intranets

Intranets are a boon to the business of virtual assistance, breaking down techno-barriers between VA’s and their clients and facilitating optimal partnering relationships. VAU is committed to promoting intranet technology as mission critical to a successful VA practice with the addition of an intranets expert coach to its learning team.

Corpus Christi, TX (PRWEB) November 29, 2005 –- In a move that reinforces VAU’s status as the industry benchmark for VA training, president Janet L. Jordan has added an intranets guru to her coaching panel. Pamela Braue has joined the VAU learning team as expert coach for intranets, with special emphasis on Microsoft’s SharePoint collaboration and communication platform.

“Successful virtual assistant practices erase geographical boundaries, enabling seamless and transparent partnering relationships between VA’s and their global clients,” says Jordan. “A well-constructed intranet site provides an ideal environment in which VA and client can set up shop” continues Jordan. “Pam Braue’s mission will be to encourage and prepare current and aspiring VA’s to introduce the use of intranets into their practices.”

Braue’s intranet expertise spans nearly a decade, and includes working side-by-side with intranet developers to create products that benefit virtual assistant practices. She has built Microsoft SharePoint sites for VAU, her own thriving VA practices, and for client realtor teams. She is known among fellow VA’s as an enthusiastic proponent of intranet technology as essential to a successful and enduring practice.

In her role as VAU expert coach, Braue will feature a weekly mini-course, “Using SharePoint to Enhance Your Virtual Assistant Practice.” Topics covered will include an overview of the technology, the ways in which it benefits VA practices, and why it is a value-added incentive for VA clients. "It's very exciting for me to be a part of the VAU coaching team,” says Braue. “I wouldn't be where I am today without my training from VAU, and I look forward to working with other VA’s to help them create strong, successful practices."
