Moores of Stalham (UK) Limited, the UK‘s leading manufacturer of specialist message boards, have recently launched their 30x40 cm Sudoku Magnetic Solver Board onto their internet shop site http://www.magneticsudoku.com

Moores’ Managing Director, Sean Willmore, commented:

“The results have been quite amazing, with orders coming via our website http://www.magneticsudoku.com , we are shipping our Sudoku Magnetic Solver Board all over the world. We only intended to launch in the UK initially, but are now planning to launch in other countries very soon. A number of major store groups in the UK are now listing the smaller 21x30 cm version of the board, with others to follow shortly. The first store group to list it in 550 stores, has been recording an average sale of 3 unit sales per store per day!

There is no doubt that this product has caught the imagination of many Sudoku enthusiasts, particularly those who like doing the newspaper or book versions of Sudoku, because it makes it so much more convenient and more fun to do.

The player just copies the “given” numbers from the newspaper or book onto the board, using coloured magnetic numbered tiles. Then the dry erase pen is used to test and try out the other numbers, which are easily removed as necessary. During the game, changes and modifications are easily done, and when the correct numbers are determined, more magnetic numbers are placed in the correct positions. The colour coded magnetic numbers make it very easy to spot errors.

After completion it can just be wiped away ready for a new puzzle to begin.

And:

· The squares are much bigger than those in the newspapers

· The dry erase surface and pen makes testing and correcting errors simple

· The colour coded magnets make spotting errors easy

· The book and newspaper versions can be done many times by different people

· A number of people can compete over the same puzzle

· The newspaper can be read while their partner reads the paper!

After a few short weeks this product has already become our best seller”

Moores are offering the 30x40 cm version on their website at http://www.magneticsudoku.com where it is now available for immediate despatch worldwide. In the UK, the 21x30 cm version is available from major retail outlets as well as many independent retailers.
