Multi-talented artist Scott Grimes has been named “AC/Hot AC Male Artist of the Year” by New Music Weekly at their annual awards show on Saturday, November 19th. The Key Club on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Boulevard was the site of this years ceremony where ironically Grimes was also awarded “AC/Hot AC Single of the Year” for his song, titled Sunset Boulevard.
Velocity Entertainment, Grimes’s label, also won for “AC/Hot AC Label of the Year.”
“I will remember these awards for the rest of my life because it’s the first time we have won anything for our music,” states Grimes. “It’s a great feeling to know all of our hard work is starting to pay off. There is nothing like getting this sort of recognition, not to mention being nominated with such other great artists.”
Paul Loggins, Editor and Publisher of New Music Weekly Magazine, continues, “We are all proud of Scott’s accomplishments, and his wins at this years ceremony are well deserved. It’s very clear that radio has welcomed Scott with open arms. We look forward to following his musical career, which I envision will have many more successes”
