Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market Planned for Park Central Plaza in North Las Vegas
Nigro Development's "Park Central Plaza" in North Las Vegas will be home to Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in 2006. The southeast corner of Tropical Parkway and Losee Road, where Park Central Plaza is located, is a growing area.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) November 30, 2005 -- Wal-Mart has signed a contract to open its fifth area Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on 4.5 acres at Nigro Development’s Park Central Plaza Shopping Center, on the southeast corner of Tropical Parkway and Losee Road, bordering Ann Road in North Las Vegas.
The 27 acre Park Central Plaza is within two miles of both the I-215 and I-15 freeways and is bordered by three major roadways.
"There are 20,000 homes within a three-mile radius of Park Central Plaza," said Todd Nigro, president of Nigro Development. The area was once industrial and is now trending toward retail and residential.
"Wal-Mart is known for selecting high-growth residential areas for its Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market locations," Nigro said, adding that a new hospital is also proposed for the neighborhood surrounding Park Central Plaza.
Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market will anchor the Park Central Plaza, which will feature a free-standing restaurant, food court, and other retail venues. Occupancy is slated for late 2006.
