Dr. Mark Smith, DC, PC, Unveils His POWER GOLF ESSENTIALS™

Dr. Mark Smith, DC, PC, unveils his POWER GOLF ESSENTIALS™, golf improvement program to the general public.

(PRWEB) November 30, 2005 -- Dr. Mark Smith, DC, PC, unveils his POWER GOLF ESSENTIALS™, golf improvement program to the general public. As an avid golfer, Dr. Smith, over the past 20 years, has researched available literature and publications that relate to the physical and mental conditions that affect professional and amateur golfers alike. While working with his patients, who were golfers, Dr. Smith developed specific exercises that not only corrected the physical injuries they had suffered, but actually improved their golf game and general health. Now Dr. Smith has condensed his POWER GOLF ESSENTIALS™ program to a few simple, at home, exercises and stretches, so that all golfers of every age and ability can enjoy the benefits of improved health and improved golf game.

Mark S. Smith, DC, DABCN is a board certified chiropractic neurologist and has been in active practice since September of 1977. During this time he has undertaken educational pursuits in kinesiology, physical therapy, physical rehabilitation, nutrition and other disciplines related to health improvement, pain reduction, and restoration and optimization of human performance.

Many of his patients have had golf related injuries, which prompted him to study the sport and the impact of physical health and function on recovery from and prevention of injuries. What he discovered was that virtually all of his patients reported that they had their best year of golf while they were under care. This led to the development of golf specific physical exams, exercises and stretches that he successfully applied in his office.

The most common problems that he found with his golfing patients serve as the inspiration and foundation of this short book. Dr. Smith has had a lifelong appreciation for golf passed down from his father, who continues to play well as he passes the 80-year mark.
