Domestic violence organization, House Of Ruth Maryland, receives a new brand identity from Brook Group, LTD. The logo design will be included in the book, Logo Lounge III.

Brook Group, LTD creates a new face for the fight against domestic violence. As part of their Giving Back program, Brook Group redesigned the logo and Web site for House Of Ruth Maryland, one of the nation’s leading domestic violence prevention and treatment centers, an organization recently featured on ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover Home Edition. Designed by Brook Group Creative Director Michelle Suazo, the House Of Ruth logo illustrates the progression from disorder to security and the comfort of home, reflecting the non-profit organization’s driving purpose. (http://www.brookgroup.com/michelle-suazo.html)

By identifying the key attributes of an organization, we create a depiction of the organization’s soul. Logo Lounge, an organization which showcases unique and exceptional logos, chose Brook Group’s House Of Ruth logo to appear in its newest book, a collection of designs published by Rockport Publishing called Logo Lounge III. Bill Gardner, Logo Lounge’s creator, lauds the work as “exceptional quality.” According to Gardner, the judging was “extremely competitive” this year. The book is scheduled to release in the Fall of 2007.
