PowderTrip Ltd. Bring “PowderGirl” Ski and Snowboard Improvement Holidays to Fernie & to Chamonix – Secure Top Fernie Instructors for Technical Short Courses

At PowderTrip we feel that good skiers and snowboarders, and women in general, are poorly catered for. Our new improvement holidays address this: technique & terrain weeks in Fernie, and for the ladies, “PowderGirl” powder, party & pamper weeks in Fernie and Chamonix.

(PRWEB) December 8, 2005 -- Strong skiers and snowboarders, and women of all levels, are poorly served by standard ski school options. PowderTrip’s new instructional holidays fill the gap.

PowderTrip Ltd. is a London based specialist in ski and snowboard improvement courses and holidays. We aim to improve upon the existing market standard, or to fill a gap in the options available. Our instructor training courses were the first to include private tuition and gourmet food. Now we are responding to requests from women, and from strong skiers and snowboarders, for improvement holidays designed specifically for them.

Fernie in the Canadian Rockies will host most of our improvement holidays. Fernie’s terrain genuinely caters for everyone from complete beginner to expert, an average annual snowfall of 29 feet means visitors have a good chance of fresh powder, and the town is lively, attractive and extremely welcoming. We also wanted to work with a top wintersports school, and few have a better reputation than Fernie’s.

Wendy LeMoine, Fernie WinterSports School director, says “Girl friends frequently vacation together in Canada so we’re delighted to be involved with PowderGirl. Girls often progress better and have more fun when there’s no guy pressure to deal with. We’re pleased that PowderTrip will also be providing technical courses in Fernie – many guests miss out on some awesome terrain because they lack the skills to tackle it. Our senior pros can’t wait to work with PowderTrip to show them how.”

We have just finalized arrangements for France’s stunning Chamonix Valley to “guest host” 2 PowderGirl weeks this season. The highlight of these chalet based weeks will be a guided trip down the spectacular Vallee Blanche beneath Mont Blanc.

All our improvement holidays will feature 21 hours coaching, including video analysis, over 5 days. The maximum group size will be 8. All tuition will be provided by highly qualified teachers who are also outstanding all-terrain skiers or riders. A 6 day lift pass is included as is accommodation, breakfast, and 6 evening meals. Our aim is for participants to have a great time together off the snow as well as on it – party as well as powder!

Each week the courses for advanced skiers and riders will major on either technique or terrain. For those with 2 weeks to spare, the 2 courses may be combined over a fortnight. The PowderGirl holidays feature an extra inclusion: an evening of pampering - a spa night with 3 treatments followed by dinner, all at a luxury hotel.

Our technical courses will run throughout the season. PowderGirl dates will meet demand in Fernie and is available for all abilities of skier and boarder. The following dates have been finalized in Chamonix and still have availability: weeks commencing 26th February and 19th March. An intermediates snowboard week is also in place for the 28th January.
