Unwrap the Latest in Unique Gifts and Decorative Accessories at the Newly Designed Vancouver Gift Show

The newly designed Vancouver Gift Show takes place at BC Place Stadium March 12 to 14, 2006; offers the perfect venue for retailers to uncover the latest gift-giving trends.

Vancouver, B.C. (PRWEB) December 1, 2005 -- Looking for the perfect gift isn’t always easy. To meet the demands of today’s savvy shopper, retailers are constantly on the look out for the latest in unique gifts and decorative accessories. The newly designed Vancouver Gift Show taking place at BC Place Stadium March 12 to 14, 2006 is the perfect venue for retailers to uncover the latest trends and find exactly what they came looking for.

“Attending the traditional gift show can be a tiring experience,” says Brenda Harrison, Show Manager of the Vancouver Gift Show. “The new Vancouver Gift Show is entirely built around the philosophy of creating an engaging and inspiring environment where retailers will not just find what they need, but also feel energized and excited.”

Celebrating creativity, innovation, quality and originality, the show will be donning a new look with six compelling product divisions including:

Amuse - to occupy in an agreeable, pleasing or entertaining fashion. The products profiled here are designed to bring out the kid in all of us including children's clothes, games, and novelty items.
Dwell - to exist in a given place or state. Whether buyers are looking for form or function, this exciting collection of home decor, garden accessories, housewares and tabletop will not disappoint even the most discerning buyer.
Give - to make a present of. Overflowing with general gifts, stationery and Christmas items, it truly is better to give than to receive.
Indulge - to allow (oneself) unrestrained gratification. Designed to indulge both the mind and body, here retailers will find specialty foods, aromatherapy, bath accessories and more.
Reward - something given or received in recompense for worthy behaviour. A stylish mix of jewellery, belts, handbags, leather goods, boutique apparel and other amazing fashion accessories.
By Hand, Canada's Artisan Gift Show - By Hand will feature over 80 exhibitors who will be showcasing hundreds of high quality, one-of-a-kind, Canadian made products.

To complement the new on-site activities, music, funky fashion shows, interactive seminars and informal networking opportunities, the Vancouver Gift Show will feature two guest speakers this year. Kevin Graff, the respected founder of the Graff Retail Group and co-author of the books "Winning Retail" and "Selling with Passion" will share his expertise on retail store operations that gives retailers a game plan that results in producing more sales. Barbara Crowhurst, retail business coach and trainer, and former senior manager of visual marketing for Royal Doultan, believes that effective retail is in the details. Barbara will be on hand to talk about how to create the “Ultimate Customer Shopping Experience.” Vancouver Gift Show attendees will have two chances to win an individual consultation with Barbara.

The Vancouver Gift Show hours will run from 9am through until 6pm on Sunday and Monday, and from 9am until 4pm on Tuesday. For more information, visit the Vancouver Gift Show website at www.vancouvergiftshow.com or call Brenda Harrison, Group/Show Manager at (416) 385-1871.
