Mike Sexton, owner of Birdman’s Designs, has been kindly asked to work as Vice President of Puppy Passions Pet Rescues and Transports and in such capacity, he will be in charge of designing all graphics for both on and offline use.

Earlier this year, Kindle Gonzales, the founder/owner of Puppy Passions, came to him because she saw the dedication he put into his own pet adoption website that he built and she was also impressed with how he organized his animal/environmental rights group, By Signing, You’re Making a Difference. “I gathered information that was of vital importance to her, such as gathering names and contact information for other rescue organizations across the country that would work with Puppy Passions to gain more volunteers and exposure in the public eye.” Mike said. Kindle saw his online stores and art gallery; she realized his talent for graphics including animation design and asked him to make a few pieces to use at her website; which he gladly did.

Everyone knows about the ordeal that Hurricane Katrina and Rita caused along the gulf coast and it so happens that Kindle lives in Beaumont, TX which is right at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. In due part to her incredible love for animals and people affected by these catastrophic storms, she was tirelessly working daily to rescue not only animals that were stranded by the hurricanes but also to help the human families who were in need of assistance as well. During this time, Mike was put in complete charge of Puppy Passions daily routines as well as calling and make arrangements for animals to be transported to various facilities where they’d be safe till more permanent placements could be found or the animal’s original owners were found. He also developed several new images that they could use on donational sale items like T-shirts and sweaters. She was impressed enough by all his hard work and dedication that she made Mike Sexton Vice President of Puppy Passions and in such capacity; they’re working hard each day to get the materials together for Puppy Passions to get 501c status.

In the short time that Puppy Passions Pet Rescues and Transports has been alive, they have seen many successes including saving at least 50-60 animals from certain death or abuse and getting them put into new and loving homes. In their capacity, they’ve also taken the opportunity whenever possible to raise the awareness of spay/neuter programs throughout the country; so that less animals are forced to be put down due to lack of homes. In light of the incredible overpopulation problem we face, Birdman’s Designs took it upon itself to design a T-shirt that will hopefully raise the awareness and get more animals fixed.
