Newly Discovered Texas Poet Creates Sensation Across United States

Two newly published poetry books by McKinney, Texas poet, John J. Rigo creates sensation across Texas and United States. The buzz is on in literary circles of the work of the newly discovered Texas poet, a self employed insurance agency owner in McKinney, Texas.

McKinney, TX (PRWEB) December 3, 2005 -- The buzz is increasing in literary circles across the United States of the newly discovered Texas poet, John J. Rigo in McKinney, Texas. With the release as of the two newly published poetry books by the Lighting Publishing Company, the word is spreading, "There is a new poet in town, and his work is worth your time in reading."

Leading the "self-publishing" approach by many successful authors in the United States, the Lulu marketing program has brought forth another poet of great distinction in the United States. Mr. Rigo a senior co-owner of an insurance casuality agency in McKinney, Texas has been writing poetry as a hobby for about twenty years.

With a desire to increase his hobby writing skills he decided to attend writing and english classes in his local community college. Upon reviewing his poetry work, Mr. Rigo's professors insisted that he consider publishing his poetry work. With the assistance of the Lulu marketing program through the Lighting Publishing Company, Mr. Rigo published two books in his "Amidst series," titled, "Roses Amidst Thorns" and "Rainbows Amidst Storms."

The Rigo family is well known in the McKinney, Texas area for their charity work in the Collin County area of Texas. This county is considered the fastest growing county in the United States at present. Last year, John and his wife Linda oversaw the remodeling of three major rooms of the New Samaritan Inn of McKinney, Texas, a homeless shelter.

The Rigo's personally hired and overseen their contractors to turn the main room of this new homeless shelter into a huge library to rival any million dollar home in the area, including a reading room and entry hall. On a daily basis they oversaw the project for a period of four months.

"We have been told by our efforts, the new Samaritan Inn is today considered one of the most beautiful 'homeless shelters' in the United States" said Mr. Rigo. Because of their desires to pass on the blessings of financial success in their insurance business the Rigo's have elected to give all net profits from these two poetry books to Christian based programs and projects in the Collin County area of Texas to assist the poor, the homeless and the infirm. Copies of these charity driven poetry books can be ordered through this direct link in time for Christmas giving: http://www.lulu.com/texaspoet
