Lee Odden , a search engine industry expert who has been cited by business publications such as U.S. News and World Report, the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the DM News, will participate in a session entitled “News Search SEO”. This panel will discuss using tactics such as press release optimization to gain visibility on news search engines including Google News and Yahoo News to drive traffic and sales.

The optimization of a press release involves strategically placing keyword phrases in the title and press release body to help drive a company’s search engine ranking for those specific keyword phrases on news search engines. Releases can also be syndicated using RSS and promoted on blogs and news web sites.
