Stealing Venus Hosts a 'Naughty and Nice' Charity Event for 'Save the Children'

The alternative rock band, Stealing Venus is putting together a showcase of comedy and rock talent from the L.A. area. The event is Dec. 7th at the King*King/Hollywood and all ticket sales go to "Save the Children."

Los Angeles, CA. (PRWEB) December 4, 2005 -- Overloaded with media attention, the hurricane relief effort and all it's many charitable opportunities, became overwhelming for the members of the alternative rock band, Stealing Venus. The band wanted to contribute and lend a hand but found themselves unable to give the amount of money they felt was deserved. Discovering that many of their talented friends had the same problem, the band has put together an amazing showcase of 'up and coming' comedians and bands for a one night event.

The event titled, "Rock-N-Hilarity 4 Charity" is being held at the King*King in Hollywood on Wednesday evening, December 7th starting at 8:00PM. Tickets for this event are only $10 at the door and all ticket sales are going to "Save the Children" to help children in the hurricane ravaged, southern U.S. this holiday season.

Along with Stealing Venus, there will be performances by, Fall Water Project, Ragsy and the Ebbs. Stand up comedy by Jay Davis, Rusty Dooley, Mike Milligan, Adam Hunter, Nick Thune and Mike Faverman.

This is an opportunity to do something good this holiday season and have fun doing it. The King*King Hollywood is located at 6555 Hollywood Blvd.in Hollywood. Parking for this event can be found behind the venue. Enter on Whitley.
