Men's Sexual Health Center gives some insight as to what men want to know when making love to women.

2426 women who took the survey were presented the question: "How many times do you fake orgasm?"

  • The items they checked off showed in the results as follows:

Never - 33.7%
Sometimes - 47.6%
All the time - 18.7%

To a women during love making, orgasms are a total body response, not just a pelvic event. Muscles in many different areas of the body contract during this phase of sexual response, indication of high orgasmic sexual arousal during sexual intercourse. An orgasm cannot be stopped once it has started, because of the involuntary process of muscular contraction and release of tension.

On average, it takes a woman 5 to 20 minutes to achieve orgasm from the start of sexual intercourse. Many women never or rarely achieve this pinnacle of sexual pleasure while others take much longer - often too long for their partners.

Men, on average, take two to six minutes to orgasm and it's the rare man who persists for long after his own climatic pleasure. The result? A lot of dissatisfied women. And by a lot we mean a significant number. This may suggest why only 32 percent of the female population do not fall into this category and never have to fake orgasms.

Solutions and Tips: Improving of sexual technique (more, longer lasting foreplay activity and male start/stop method during intercourse) , testing of hormonal levels (low testosterone levels can, for instance, especially in post menopausal women, cause sexual problems) and sex enhancing aids (gels, herbal pills and creams).
