MoneyPants.com Celebrates 1st Anniversary With Promotion to Help Consumers Prepare for New Credit Card Payment Increases

MoneyPants.com launches a limited-time discount membership program to help consumers prepare for much higher credit card payments in 2006.

Los Angeles, CA (/PRWEB ) December 5, 2005 -- To celebrate its one-year anniversary, MoneyPants.com is launching a limited-time discount membership program to help consumers prepare for much higher credit card payments in 2006. Now through January 1, new MoneyPants members pay only $79 on their first year’s membership -- a $20 discount and a savings of over 30% on the monthly membership fee.

Under new laws effective January 1, a $100 minimum payment to a Visa or MasterCard could jump to $200.* “Overextended consumers could be hit hard,” cautions MoneyPants CEO Komal Bhojwani, “especially with the holiday spending season coming up.”

“MoneyPants is here to help people make budgeting choices that work for them individually,” Bhojwani says,.“We want to encourage and empower them to become their own best personal finance advisor.”

Since its launch in November 2004, MoneyPants.com, an online personal finance community, has helped thousands of people enjoy getting conscious about their money. MoneyPants’ unique, easy-to-use budgeting tool, CashTrack, shows members what’s been paid, what's still due, and how close they are to their budget. The site’s cool "Worth it?" button helps members see if they’re enjoying what they spend. The GoalTrack feature works seamlessly to picture their progress in saving toward a special goal, like a vacation, wedding, or loan payoff.

Members rave about the results. “Your user friendly format has eased my fears of all things ‘money’ and I’m looking forward to a brighter financial future,” notes Jayne T.

“I love MoneyPants and have told several people about it. This is the only program I’ve been able to stick with,” offers Yolanda R.

And Randy H. writes: “I used it everyday for a month straight and found it be very eye opening to where our money was going. I took a several month break from MoneyPants. What a big mistake . . . I’m now back to using MoneyPants and I really enjoy the ease of use.”
