Bandana Boutique Introduces New Line of Baby Products
Mom of three expands bandana business to include baby products.
Plainfield, IL (PRWEB) December 6, 2005 -- Just over a year ago, this mother of three, Phyllis Pometta started what she thought was just a small work at home business. Little did she know that one phone call could change her life. Six months into her business, a producer from ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” called looking for products made using bandanas.’ They were in luck because that is what Pometta did. She was extremely honored to participate and forwarded 2 dozen pillows, a throw blanket and other items that she had made. During this time she was still coming up with unique new ideas that could be made out of the original bandana.
Another call from a friend was received stating her son would not leave her side due to divorce. Her friend stated that he needed to sleep with her silk pajama shirt to finally get to sleep. It was that call that inspired Pometta to make the Baby Bandana Silkie. One side is made out of the original bandana, while the other is made using silk. This was the answer to her friends’ prayers!. After receiving this Baby Bandana Silkie, she lightly sprayed it with her perfume and he was able to carry a piece of mom with him when he went back to his dads. Shortly after that was created, the uniqueness continued with the Bandana Burp Cloth, Bright Books, Toys and more.
"After seeing that my Baby Bandana Silkie helped my friends’ son, I knew I was on to something." says Pometta, "If I could help one little boy, I can help to comfort many others."
The company encourages the customer to choose which colors will make up their unique and one of a kind Baby Bandana Silkie, burp cloth, bib, and even baby bedding. They have also had products featured on “The Hot Moms Club” and “Mommies With Style” websites.
In 2005, at almost a year old, BandanaBoutique.com has had numerous international hits, from all over the globe, and is continuously growing.
"I am very proud of my Baby Bandana Silkie," states Pometta, "however, I will continue to create what I love, products for babies and bandanas."
