Play Music on Your Personal Homepage

iAlmond introduces background music streaming for its personal homepage service, which serves as means for individuals to share their musical appetite with family and friends and further define their uniqueness.

(PRWEB) December 16, 2005 -- StarPals, a provider of easy-to-share personal homepage service, today announced the availability of iAlmond Music, a breakthrough music streaming service that gives subscribers the power to effortlessly play music on their personal homepages.

While online music streaming service is currently found in some of major online music sites such as Yahoo!Music or Rhapsody.com, this is the first time that the personal homepage based social networking site provides background music (BGM) streaming for its personal homepage users.

The service makes it convenient for individuals to add background music to their personal homepages. By streaming songs on personal web pages, it will extend the ways to express individuals’ personal appetite of music to friends and family.

iAlmond Music eliminates the need for users to pay monthly subscription fees in order to listen to a few selective songs. Instead, iAlmond said it will offer $.50 per song for permanent acquisition.

“Many web users have had a hard time playing songs on their web sites or blogs because until now there has not been any company that legally provides opportunities to stream background music for the usage on personal web pages,” said Wonkyu Lee, Founder of StarPals.

In addition to its distinguished online music service, iAlmond differentiates itself by providing users with a simple interface to share photos and journals while specifying who they want to share information with. Users designate the privacy settings of their profiles, photos, and journals enabling them to publish to everyone, a selected group, or remain private.

Wonkyu Lee adds that iAlmond will take social networking to the next level. “We believe every single web user will own a personal homepage in the very near future. By signing up at no cost at iAlmond, each member receives an iHome along with a personal web address. There are no limits to uploading photos and journals. Family and friends simply enter the iHome address into their browsers to interact with others in their social network.” Unique features of iAlmond include the ability to establish user-designated social groups with distinctive privilege settings and seamless integration of photo management, web publishing, streaming background music and social networking.
