Whistler, B.C. (PRWEB) December 8, 2005

A new Tube Park will open on Blackcomb Mountain Dec. 16 (weather permitting) providing visitors with an exhilarating snow sliding experience, for all ages.

"Tubers" will choose from six to eight different sliding lanes 1,000 feet in length. A moving carpet will take “tubers” to the top where they can choose their run. The runs will vary in difficulty from Green to Blue to Black.

There will be a number of other amenities close by including a snack bar, a fire pit, and a spectator area/play area for those too small to tube. The tube park can be accessed either via the Excalibur Gondola or by car.

During the season the Tube Park will be open seven days a week, Sunday through Wednesday from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Thursday through Saturday and holidays from 10:00am – 9:00pm.

ResortQuest Whistler celebrates the kick-off of the season by offering the “Fresh Tracks Program,” which includes two free vouchers good for breakfast and early-loading privileges, allowing advance access to Whistler Mountain’s slopes, for guests that book before Dec. 15th. Some restrictions do apply. Customers wishing to make reservations, call toll-free 888-472-9384 or visit online at http://www.resortquestwhistler.com.
