Marine.com LLC, a Leading Web boating supply superstore puts the wind back in the sails of Sailnet.com, an award-winning Internet sailing community.
Thornton, PA (PRWEB) December 9, 2005 -- Marine.com LLC. acquired the intellectual property assets of Marinenet Corp.; including the SailNet.com Web site community. SailNet.com has been recognized as one of Forbes Magazine’s “Best of the Web” four years in a row for its content, resources and community.

The parent company of the SailNet web community, Marinenet Corp., filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in July 2005. The primary and most visible asset of Marinenet Corp was the award-winning SailNet web community. Despite the similarity in names there is no relationship between Marine.com LLC. and the dissolved Marinenet Corp.
