Saturday, December 10th, Snowstar Winter Sports Park will set a few new records along with a few smiles when they open for the 2005-06 winter season.
Taylor Ridge, IL (PRWEB) December 11, 2005 -- Saturday, December 10th, Snowstar Winter Sports Park will set a few new records along with a few smiles when they open for the 2005-06 winter season. According to Ed Meyer, Snowstar’s General Manager, “This is the first time in our history that we are opening the area ahead of schedule, one week ahead to be exact. When we open this weekend, it will be our earliest opening in fifteen years. That’s all thanks to our new snowmaking system and good cold temperatures over the past week.”
This season ushers in Snowstar’s 25th Anniversary and they will be celebrating all season by offering special deals and events. Opening weekend is no exception. Just bring a food pantry donation during their “Will Ski for Food” December promotion and receive a lift ticket for half price. That’s up to a $14 savings!
Hours this weekend include: Saturday and Sunday from 9am-9pm. The Resort will temporarily close Monday and re-open again on Friday, December 16th at 9am. For current, up to the minute snow conditions call 309-798-2666 or visit the website at www.skisnowstar.com.
