Robert Swezey has joined Burroughs & Chapin Golf Management as Executive Vice President Of Golf Operations. Swezey came to Burroughs & Chapin Golf Management from one of the nation’s leading sports management and marketing firms, KemperSports Management, where he was Regional Director of Operations.
(PRWEB) December 11, 2005 -- Robert Swezey has joined Burroughs & Chapin Golf Management as Executive Vice President Of Golf Operations. Swezey came to Burroughs & Chapin Golf Management from one of the nation’s leading sports management and marketing firms, KemperSports Management, where he was Regional Director of Operations.
As Executive Vice President of Golf, Swezey manages the operational functions for Burroughs & Chapin’s owned and managed championship golf courses. He also oversees the company’s catering, group sales and other related operations. He is also responsible for monitoring Burroughs & Chapin's joint venture hotels.
Prior to joining Burroughs & Chapin Golf Management, Swezey served as Regional Director of Operations for KemperSports Management, headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. During his employment he was responsible for 11 clients and 21 facilities in the Midwest and east coast.
In his twenty five years of golf management experience, Swezey has worked in positions ranging from PGA Assistant Professional to Vice President/PGA Director of Operations. He managed operations at some of the nation’s finest operations, including Whitford Country Club in Pennsylvania, the TPC at Prestancia in Florida , the TPC at Sawgrass in Florida, Eagle Watch GC in Georgia, River Hills CC in Florida and Fawn Lake Country Club in Virginia.

He has been recognized as a regional and national leader in areas of education and merchandising and has received recognition for operating three Top 100 Golf Operations in America.
