A new reggae mp3 download site is now the official site of Bunny "Striker" Lee's catalog in an agreement recently signed with Silver Kamel.

Silver Kamel Audio is pleased to announce that in an agreement with Bunny "Striker" Lee made last month that http://www.reggae-mp3.com will be his officially designated website to introduce the new generation to his works. FREE MP3 downloads and reggae phone ringtones will be available for selected catalog items. Eventually it is hoped that all of Mr. Lees catalog will be available.

Bunny Lee is a legendary producer of reggae music from the very early days of Ska and Rock Steady, working with the Greats of reggae such as Jackie Mitto, Tommy McCook, Ernest Ranglin, Derrick Morgan, Alton Ellis and Slim Smith in the 1960s.

It is said that he actually introduced the "Ridim Twins" Sly & Robbie who played in Bunnys session bands The Aggrovators and The Revolutionaires.

Bunnys credentials are incredible and the impact that he and King Tubby had on the music scene when they introduced the first dub cuts in the dancehall for DJs like U-Roy and I-Roy to chat over assures them a permanent and well deserved place in reggae musics history. Artists and producers of this stature deserve to be in a Musical Hall of Fame but reggae is very often overlooked except for notable examples.

Every effort is being made to ensure that the quality of these historic recordings from reggae luminaires like John Holt, Johnnie Clarke, Jackie Mittoo, King Tubby, Barry Brown are given a thorough cleanup so that the quality of the music is not spoiled by the quality of the recording.

Silver Kamel is honored and excited by this new project and looks forward to turning on a whole new generation to these great recordings.

There are even free reggae mp3 download files from some of the recordings so that people will be able to create a CD for free. The hope of course is that once they have sampled the music they will come back for more.
