Drunken Martha Includes Pumpkin Nachos In Her Holiday Cookbook
Just when you thought the attack on the word Christmas was weird enough, along comes the outrageous recipe from Martha's 147 Fabulous Holiday Recipes cookbook. It's called Pumpkin Nachos. Yes ... Pumpkin Nachos.
Fenton, MI (PRWEB) December 13, 2005 -- Just when you thought the attack on the word Christmas was weird enough, along comes the outrageous recipe from Martha's 147 Fabulous Holiday Recipes cookbook. It's called Pumpkin Nachos. Yes ... Pumpkin Nachos.
Apparently, a drunken Martha had cravings for Mexican food. As she began to make great, traditional nachos, she remembered it's the Christmas Season. She thought, "Let's add something to make it festive." And voila! A new creation was born.
"In the state of mind I was in, I thought it was a great idea. I wasn't going to add it to the cookbook. But my publisher said to leave it in," said Martha.
The odd recipe is a late addition to Martha's real Holiday Cookbook entitled "Martha's Cooking Presents ... 147 Fabulous Holiday Recipes." The 147 recipes include holiday meals, side dishes, bread, cookies, cakes, beverages, snacks and normal pumpkin treats.
