“The OHUG in April will be an event PeopleSoft HCM users will not want to miss. It will provide PeopleSoft customers with the opportunity to learn about PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM product direction and what they should be thinking about in regards to their future product strategy,” said Jason Averbook, CEO of Knowledge Infusion and Conference Chair of the PeopleSoft HCM track of the OHUG. “By bringing together the PeopleSoft HCM users in Las Vegas for the first time since PeopleSoft Connect 2004, customers will be able to collaborate and share best practices while experiencing more than 50 sessions focused on PeopleSoft Enterprise specific strategy, functional, and technical issues.”
“We are very excited to include the PeopleSoft HCM users at our conference this year. As Oracle moves towards ‘Project Fusion,’ we look forward to building an HCM specific community that provides important feedback and interaction with Oracle development,” said John Hale, Director, IT at Gevity and Chair of OHUG. “Oracle is committed to supporting the OHUG – expanding the content to ensure PeopleSoft HCM users will get excellent information from the PeopleSoft focused Enterprise sessions. This is the best conference available for HCM professionals with more than 100 sessions focused exclusively on HCM products, technology, strategy, and direction.”
The Spring OHUG will be the closest event to PeopleSoft Connect for HCM customers, delivering sessions focused on many different audiences throughout the three days. PeopleSoft customers responsible for strategy, functional, and technical areas of the business can log-on to http://www.ohug.org to register for the event for only $399 beginning in early January. The conference will be held at the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
The OHUG, formally known as the Global HRIS SIG, was formed at the October 1996 OAUG meeting and then held its first meeting in January of 1997. The OHUG has two meetings per year and are sponsored by a collection of OHUG members and vendors.
