John Ferraro Joins Snipe Networks Advisory Board

Expanded advisory team increases the operational experience and guides Snipe Networks' rapid growth.

TORONTO, Canada (PRWEB) December 15, 2005 -- Snipe Networks, a leading provider of user-centric behavioural anomaly detection and mitigation (NBAD) solution provider, today announced the addition of John Ferraro, CEO of seeCommerce, to its Advisory Board. The Board is responsible for providing guidance to Snipe Network’s management team as they manage the business through rapid growth as well as being active in extending Snipe Networks’ reach into the enterprise marketplace.

John joined SeeCommerce as their President and CEO in 2003. Since January of 1995, John has led four start-up or early stage companies through tremendous growth, successful IPOs and mergers/acquisitions. His first start up was Unison Software where he was VP of Sales from 1995 through 1997. Under John's sales leadership, Unison had a highly successful IPO and was eventually acquired by Tivoli. From there, John was EVP Worldwide Sales, Business Development and Professional Services at Legato Systems until June 1999. Under John's leadership, Legato experienced tremendous revenue and enterprise customer growth. In January 2000, John joined Securant Technologies, an enterprise security software company, where he was responsible for World Wide Sales and Field Operations. Securant grew their Fortune 1000 customer base to over 110 sites and a leadership position within two years. In September of 2001 Securant was acquired by RSA Security.
