Greg Thompson Further Extends Talent Portfolio of Leading Human Capital Management Consultancy

San Ramon, Calif. – December 14, 2005 – Building on its continued record of attracting top knowledge experts in the human capital management (HCM) domain, Knowledge Infusion today announces the addition of Greg Thompson to the strategic consulting organization. As a recognized industry pioneer in learning management and portal solutions, Thompson’s leadership and expertise further extends Knowledge Infusion service offerings to provide clients with a comprehensive approach to empowering the workforce through learning solutions, community portals, and collaborative technologies.

Joining as Principal Consultant, Thompson will work closely with customers in developing strategies to measurably impact their business by utilizing learning management systems (LMS), collaboration technologies, analytic tools, and portal platforms. Leveraging his expertise gained from working at leading enterprise software vendors including PeopleSoft, Inc. and Oracle Corporation, Thompson will work to guide customers in achieving improved business performance by integrating learning technologies into talent management processes, including performance management, as well as other operational systems such as call center and customer relationship management (CRM) applications.

Thompson has more than 15 years of experience focused on technology in the learning and development industry. His previous roles included director of strategy for the Oracle HCM product division where he led the global product strategy for the Learning Solutions product offering. This solution was distinguished by successful implementations at Global 2000 organizations in more than 60 countries spanning 23 languages. Prior to the Oracle acquisition of PeopleSoft, Thompson was product manager and senior strategist for the PeopleSoft Learning Solutions group which launched the company’s first LMS platform - one of the top five license revenue products for PeopleSoft during 2003 and 2004. Thompson also held a position as senior strategist on the first edition of PeopleSoft’s enterprise and community portal products -- from start-up phase through the first 900 customers.
