Stafford Manufacturing Corporation Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Stafford Manufacturing Corporation announced recently that they have just celebrated their 30th year in business. Stafford now occupies a 30,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facilty in Wilmington which they moved into in 1982 and now services many industries including medical instrumentation, excercise equipment, packaging machinery, automation systems,material handling conveyors, and more.

Stafford Manufacturing Corporation announced recently that they have just celebrated their 30th year in business. Founded in 1975 by Arthur Stafford, the company began as a machine shop in nearby Woburn with a mission to supply shaft collars and related mechanical components to the power transmission industry. They grew to six employees that first year.

Today, Stafford Manufacturing Corp. occupies a 30,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Wilmington which they moved into in 1982 and now services many industries including medical instrumentation, exercise equipment, packaging machinery, automation systems, material handling conveyors, and more. They now boast over 3,000 catalogued products including special components.

The hallmark of Stafford’s success has been encouraging “specials” or custom designed parts and their willingness to produce small quantities. According to Arthur Stafford, President, “We have a highly skilled and loyal workforce of more than 40 people and encourage innovation when solving our customer’s most challenging design requirements.”
