Fuquay-Varina, NC – The holiday season is in full swing at Gingerbread Littleversity, a childcare facility in Fuquay-Varina. Students decorated gingerbread cookies for the holiday season on December 1. This was the first annual Gingerbread Cookie Decorating Party at the centers, and the children enjoyed it so much that owners plan to grow the concept into a larger Gingerbread House Festival in future years.

“Decorating cookies is such a creative activity for the kids,” says Kelli Ketner, General Manager of Gingerbread LittleVersity. “We hope to get the families more involved in the future and make it a true community event.”

The Gingerbread LittleVersity centers are also participating in the Toys for Tots and Coats for Kids programs to spread holiday cheer to less fortunate children. To donate toys or coats, drop by any of Gingerbread Littleversity’s locations Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.: 211 Railroad Street, 2204 N. Main Street, or 1521 N. Main Street. For more information, contact Kelli Ketner at 919-557-GRAD(4723).
