The Kitchen Leads U.S. Telenovela Dubbing Market

Today’s 120-180-plus episodic television series, known as the Telenovela, may have its origins in the golden old days of pre-television, detergent-sponsored radio “series”, but unlike the good old days, when only English speaking audiences were spoken to, today’s Telenovela reaches the Spanish households, the Portuguese families, West Africa, Hungary and Estonia.

Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL (PRWEB) December 19, 2005 -- Today’s 120-180-plus episodic television series, known as the Telenovela, may have its origins in the golden old days of pre-television, detergent-sponsored radio “series”, but unlike the good old days, when only English speaking audiences were spoken to, today’s Telenovela reaches the Spanish households, the Portuguese families, West Africa, Hungary and Estonia.

Soon, the Telenovela will be seen in primetime…..reaching American households of all demographics on a nightly basis.

“The demand,” according to Ken Lorber, President and CEO of “The Kitchen”, is remarkable. On a monthly basis we may have as many as 40-50episodes in some form of production. Actors come in and out. A different language is heard in every studio. M & E’s are often re-created. Graphics are completed, when necessary, in each language. It is all very exciting!”

“The Kitchen”, so far this year, has completed four entire episodic Telenovela’s, and even boasts its first Spanish to French sale to the Western African marketplace.

“The Kitchen”, the only international language “hub” powered in its entirety by the Emmy® Award Winning TM SYSTEMS™ language localization software technology, offers language transcription, translation, dubbing, subtitling, graphics customization, closed captioning and traffic services, in all languages.

Telenovela’s are now in demand globally. Old ‘60’s and ‘70’s television series are being dubbed into every language. The creation of voice, sound and graphics localization for video game releases is becoming truly international. And of course, there is the snow ball effect of worldwide sales of current American programs…

The Kitchen offers the distributor, the network and the producer, the ability to be fully in control of his international production for the very first time. The Kitchen is one of the few international language facilities that offer a complete menu of services and provides those services in all languages.

With parent company TM SYSTEMS proprietary software, voice casting, to picture, can be accomplished via the Internet. Programs can be qc-d throughout the process directly from your desktop, and much more.
