Blue Chip Casino, Michigan City, IN today announced the opening of Options Buffet, a 333-seat, 111-table restaurant that offers more than 100 delicious food selections and a spacious, functional, contemporary ambiance to enhance the dining experience.

Six food stations span the 140-foot serving line – half the length of a football field – so that diners can choose from a wide range of cuisines and foods and receive prompt service, as well.

“We have created Options Buffet to please the palate of just about any diner, with salads, soups, entrees, side dishes and desserts that are freshly prepared each day in our kitchens,” says Brian Grzyb, Blue Chip Casino Executive Chef. “The menu features such variety that guests can enjoy new taste sensations each time they visit.”

The food action stations, which are themed and color-coded for easy identification, include: American Bounty, for hand-carved meats and home style comfort foods, such as meatloaf and mashed potatoes; Italian, for homemade pizza and freshly-made pastas; Asian, for stir fry dishes, lo mein noodles and egg rolls; The Broiler, for ribs, steaks and rotisserie chicken; Designer Salad, for made-to-order Greek, Caesar and spinach salads as well as specialty soups and Dessert, featuring a lavish chocolate fountain, hand-scooped ice cream, fresh fruit, cakes and pies.

Options Buffet hours and prices are: Breakfast, 7 -11 a.m. - $8.95; Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - $11.95; Dinner, Sunday through Thursday, 4 -10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 4 -11 p.m. - $18.95. Options will be open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

The opening of Options Buffet follows two other restaurants that have opened at Blue Chip Casino in recent months: William B’s Steakhouse, which offers the finest American cuisine, including steak, seafood and desserts in a cozy, comfortable setting and Nelson’s Deli, a 68-seat restaurant featuring piled-high sandwiches and other casual meal favorites.
