The National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) applauds DuPont, Sara Lee, Shell Oil and Wal-Mart for announcing an initiative to increase the utilization of minority-owned law firms throughout the United States. These companies have made a public to place a total of at least $16 million dollars of legal work with minority-owned law firms during the upcoming year.
“NAMWOLF is excited to learn of the public commitments made by DuPont, Sara Lee, Shell Oil and Wal-Mart to strengthen their commitment to working with minority-owned law firms,” said Yolanda Coly, Associate Director of NAMWOLF. “Hopefully, other companies will join this effort to ensure that minority-owned law firms have a full and fair opportunity to compete for corporate work,” she added. “We are confident that NAMWOLF Law Firm Members are up to the challenge!”
