Malcolm Goode was a bit perplexed when his wife complained about having to stop the cart and get out to pick up balls during her scramble golf games with friends. “She’s 5’2” and I’m 6’3” , I never noticed she stopped the cart because when we play together, I just lean over and pick up the balls” says Goode. “So I went to my son's fabrication shop and made her a simple cart golf ball retriever.” The resulting small club-like tool was a big hit with his wife and an even bigger hit with everyone she played with. Before long Malcolm had a list of eager buyers wanting the ball retriever. “I asked my daughter what we should call it and she said a Get Go, the name stuck” states Malcolm.

Inital interest was from women but soon men that were a bit shorter thanMalcolm and a few others with bad knees and bad backs were asking for a Get Go .”I started out making something for my wife and found myself with a business” explained Goode “ I hope others like it as much as she does.
