Lutherville, MD (PRWEB) December 16, 2005 -- Restyn, LLC, a religious publishing company based in Lutherville, Maryland, has released its first book, "Be of Good Cheer: Discovering the Redeeming Quality of Struggle". The book, written by Pittsburgh-area pastor and first-time author Ethan McCardell, describes a new way of looking at Christian life and values.

McCardell, a leading voice in the small but growing Second Advent Christianity movement, discusses his view of God's ability to make His presence known in the life of any person in any circumstance -- and any faith -- if they are receptive to Him.

"God created you because He loves you," McCardell says. "He created you to go to heaven if you want to be with Him. On a deep, spiritual level, people know this and want a relationship with God, but don't know how to get there."

McCardell describes his first book as a tool to help people enrich and deepen their spiritual lives and strengthen their connection with God. The book, organized as a 21-day devotional road map, reviews the spiritual history of the human race and discusses how this relates to each person's walk with God.

"As a Christian pastor, I have what you might call a 'temptation ministry,'" McCardell says. "Every lesson we learn about our relationship with God can be summed up in how we deal with challenge or, as the Bible calls it, temptation. The knowledge we have about who God is and how He works continually for our salvation helps us overcome temptation in all its forms."

McCardell is the pastor of the Sower's Chapel in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Together with his wife Jessica, he has dedicated his life to sharing the gospel of the Lord God Jesus Christ through ministry and teaching. You can learn more about McCardell and his ministry at http://www.ethanmccardell.com/.
