This technology provides complete, fast, and secure visitor registration, background checking, recordkeeping, reporting and ID badges.
With BARRicade, visitors electronically swipe their driver's license and all relevant information about them is automatically read and captured in a secure encrypted database. This information is then run against the U.S. Dept. of Justice sex offender database. In the event of an identified sex offender, the administrators will be alerted immediately to the potential threat in their building.
The process involves a picture of the visitor, as well as a biometric fingerprint scan. After a few questions, the process is complete. In twenty seconds or less, the person is professionally screened and a high quality visitor ID badge is printed. This badge displays their name, picture, title, check-in time, destination, and other school defined categories.
