EyeCues Education Systems, Inc Announces the Distinction of its Assessa Website as an Electronic Learning Assessment Resource of the California Learning Resource Network

EyeCues Education's own Assessa testing system has been acknowledged by the California Learning Network as an efficient, credible resource for teachers, parents, administrators, and students looking to simplify the task of thoroughly addressing and mastering the content of state standards in the wake of No Child Left Behind. The Assessa website, accessible to students and parents at home while also available in software form for schools, does the work for administrators, teachers and parents aiming to track students' progress and consequently focus on those state standards in which students are struggling.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2005 -- EyeCues Education Systems, Inc has announced that its Assessa testing system is now listed by the state of California as a CA Electronic Learning Assessment Resource, due to its ability to provide a method for reading, analyzing, and reporting state test data and conducting ongoing formative and summative testing. Users of the assessment system are able to create, customize and administer tests aligned to state standards with the use of the web, pocket PCs or personal handhelds.

The California Learning Resource Network periodically evaluates various educational resources to determine which programs available to students and teachers simplify the delivery and desegregation of testing data. As part of its 2005 review, the CLRN selected Assessa as one of seven ELAR publishers.

President and founder of EyeCues Education, John B. Watson, Ph.D., sees the recognition as a crucial achievement for the educational website: “For educators, the Assessa system proves to be extremely beneficial and user-friendly, as users are able to import their own test and survey items, as well as access over 6,000 math and language art items for grades 3-8. More specifically, the variety of aggregate and disaggregate reports prepared by the system help teachers and administrators quickly identify student achievement gaps, a necessary feature of any educational resource since the integration of No Child Left Behind.”

EyeCues provides support materials and resources as well as expert-provided training to enable educators to effectively use the ELAR. This includes analysis and professional development through the Institute at Indian Hill (at Claremont Graduate University).

Assessa Server and Assessa Desktop for Palm are available for implementation in schools and districts across the country. To learn more, please contact EyeCues Education Systems, Inc. by calling 619-299-2255 or visiting www.assessa.com
