Aerial Victories of the Jet Era is a book about the air-to-air combat victories during the Jet Era, 1950-2000. The book is separated into five sections, Korea, Viet Nam, Libya, the Gulf and Bosnia. The groups and squadrons are listed in numerical order within each section. The pilot listings include name, rank, serial number, date of the victory, the type of plane flown and the type of aircraft shot down of all 724 pilots that were credited with an aerial victory while flying a jet.
Arthur Wyllie wrote Aerial Victories of the Jet Era as a companion volume to his previous book WWII Victories of the Army Air Force that lists 7,299 pilots who were credited with aerial victories during World War II. These two volumes are meant to forever commemorate the courage, bravery and sacrifice of these brave men and the incredible deeds they performed in the service of their country.
