Fotki. Inc., the company behind fotki.com, a media social network specializing in photo sharing, today announced that Mr. Vinit Nijhawan, serial entrepreneur, has joined Fotki as a member of the Advisory Board.

Inc., the company behind fotki.com, a media social network specializing in photo sharing, today announced that Mr. Vinit Nijhawan, serial entrepreneur, has joined Fotki as a member of the Advisory Board. Vinit Nijhawan is the President of TiE Boston - a not-for-profit Boston organization with a mission to foster and support entrepreneurship. He also serves as a Venture Partner at Key Venture Partners. In addition, Vinit Nijhawan is a Director of airwide solutions a Key Venture portfolio company. The company provides software to wireless operators to monetize their data networks by enabling and managing text and multimedia messaging.
Previously, Mr. Nijhawan was the founder, president, and chairman of the board of Kinetic Computer Corporation, which was established in 1992 to provide wireless solutions for transportation and logistics fleets. Mr. Nijhawan also previously held the positions of Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for Payload Systems, Inc., which developed spaceflight instrumentation for the space shuttle and the international space station. Mr. Nijhawan has participated in over 100 panel discussions and paper presentations about technology.
