Summit, NJ (PRWEB) December 21, 2005 -- Native New Yorker, Cornelia Tuoriniemi, former Director of National Accounts for the global luxury brand, Cartier, Inc., and her husband, Veijo Tuoriniemi, former CEO of Sailor Textile Ltd., a garment and toy manufacturer based in Finland, have joined forces to launch their own company, Summit Baby, Inc.

Their first product, VIVA! Breastfeeding pillow will appear in an episode of the Discovery Health Channel series Runway Moms. Runway Moms is a verité-style series about model moms as represented by the premiere New York Modeling Agency, Expecting Models which represents professional models that are pregnant or nursing.

The series begins December 22 and VIVA!’s episode airs early January featuring model, Kristie Glass being photographed nursing her baby Olive for the VIVA! Nursing Pillow Box.

Compared with other pillows, VIVA! is designed to maximize cleanliness, comfort and ease. The washable cover can be removed to wipe clean the PVC inner pillow. The back support can be adjusted in firmness and placement to best suit each individual woman’s needs. The hook closure is the best solution for one-handed operation. And best of all you can remove the entire pillow while seated, without waking your baby.

“I designed VIVA! to give the best support and most personalized fit for every woman. Breastfeeding can be a difficult experience for so many women. I suffered from back and shoulder pains myself and wanted to develop a better product to help in this critical time,” says Ms. Tuoriniemi.

Cornelia Tuoriniemi was born and raised in the Village and holds a Masters in Psychology from The New School with a background in wholesale sales, managing national chain/multidoor accounts. She is also co-inventor in Tuoriniemi-team patents 6,158,065 “Baby bath Tub”; and 6,731,267 “Single touch dual axis input device” a new superior type of cursor control for cellular telephones and PDA’s that makes keypads obsolete and enables full size computer displays. Veijo Tuoriniemi is an inventor with seven granted US patents and holds a background in international trade.

Summit Baby, Inc. offers patented & patent pending designs developed by the Tuoriniemi team. Several other new revolutionary products are slated for production in 2006.
