(PRWEB) December 23, 2005 -- Responding to overwhelming requests, PhotoCalc – http://www.photocalc.com – has now expanded its service to provide the true cost for printing online to include 17 different services.
Beginning two months ago, PhotoCalc began allowing digital camera users to find out the real cost – including shipping – of printing their pictures with various online companies. Initially providing information for 5 companies, PhotoCalc can now precisely calculate the cost for 17 services. It has also been expanded to provide Canada and international shipping rates as well.
The free and easy-to use tool can be found at http://www.photocalc.com
“We just figured that we should give digital camera users as much information and as many options as possible,” said the tool’s creator, Andrew Wohlberg.
The tool gives users the option to find out prices for 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 photos. Simply select the size, enter the number of photos to be printed, and receive a list of all of the services’ prices, with the least expensive at the top.
The complete list of companies is: Shutterfly, Snapfish, PhotoWorks, RitzPix, Kodak EasyShare Gallery, York Photo, Clark Color, Winkflash, ImageStation, Yahoo! Photos, ePHOTOfiles, CameraSpot, Costco Photocenter, MPIX, Sam's Club Digital Photo Center, Walgreens Photo Center, and PEPhoto.com.
