Phoenix, AZ -- (PRWEB) December 24, 2005 -- A small group of professional SEOs have gathered together and produced an Internet first. They have developed a way for everyday website owners to get relevant backlinks pointed to their website. The backlinks are intended to increase search engine rankings and link popularity. The small team of professionals is providing this service to the public for free at http://www.freerelevantlinks.com

The new service was released on December 1, 2005 and has already produced over 7,000 backlinks for various websites across 12 vertical markets. "The web communities have really embraced our company and have given us the viral marketing push that we need," said Mr. Newman, CEO of Free Relevant Links. When asked why the service is being provided for free, Mr. Newman responded, "The service is free because our 18 different Internet businesses are also using the service. They are benefiting from the service with increased search engine rankings and link popularity. Just as all of our customers are benefiting."

A backlink to a website is similar to a vote for that website. The major search engines use these "votes" to determine which websites should be ranked in the top ten results. Recently, the backlink voting has gotten much more complicated on search engines such as Google. Search engines are now looking for backlinks from relevant websites to one's own website. An example would be a real estate website linking to another real estate website. This would be a good backlink. Search engines are also looking for one-way links. These are links where the website has not participated in a link trade.

All of these different factors have been incorporated into the Free Relevant Links system. "We tried to make the system as simple as possible, so that any website owner would be able to do it. The system is meant to be a 'set it and forget it' type of system. We are looking for long term customers," said Mr. Newman.
