No Chance of a White Christmas but Colder Weather is Expected After Boxing Day
Snow expected across the UK after Boxing Day.
(PRWEB) December 25, 2005 -- I have recently completed a PhD thesis into heavy snowfalls across Great Britain (www.richardjwild.co.uk) and thought you might be interested with just a few days away from Christmas Day, in learning what the current prospects are for a White Christmas across your region.
Based on the current meteorological models this morning, the chances of the UK seeing snow on Christmas Day is 0%. The current weather forecast for your region on Christmas Day is dry with sunny spells after an early frost, light and variable winds with slightly below average temperatures for late December. However, sleet and snow showers are likely to affect eastern and south-eastern districts of the UK in particular during the period 26-29th December as much colder weather is expected from Europe.
