Houston Based Fitness Expert Offers Important Fitness Tips In Honor Of National Personal Trainers Day

Houston based fitness expert, Sincere Hogan, offers 3 fit tips in honor of National Personal Trainer's Day.

Houston, TX. (PRWEB) December 26, 2005 -- Every January 2nd millions of Americans, armed with their latest resolution they made the day before to lose weight and get in shape, start their annual attempt at making this the year they make positive, permanent healthy lifestyle changes. By February most of the ambition has faded and virtually all have returned to their familiar position - plopped in front of the television eating God knows what. National Personal Trainer Awareness Day was founded with the hopes of preventing this from continuing to happen.

"Personal trainers play a pivotal role in helping people actually achieve their health and fitness goals", said Sincere Hogan, a fitness expert based out of Houston, TX. Sincere went on to add "Trainers are highly educated and are not the tank top and spandex wearing 'muscle-heads' many people associate with the word personal trainer."

Hogan believes that today's fitness professionals are able to help people in a number of important ways such as:

1.Designing fitness programs that achieve far greater results in much less time than most people think possible.
2. Decrease their risk of injury while exercising significantly.
3.Keeping them motivated and help them set realistic goals.
4.Acting as a role model and support person to help them stay focused on living a healthy lifestyle.

Sincere is the president of Houston based JoshOne Fitness & JoshOne Fitcamp in Houston, TX. He states, “My clients want a structured program that is challenging enough to gain desired results, time efficient, yet comprehensive enough to be done anywhere.” “I work with mostly professionals who once thought they did not have time to work out. My fitcamp removes that barrier.”

If you desire a challenge in the coming year, Hogan suggests the following:

1) Think about what you really want to accomplish in the next few months. (i.e. going down a dress/pant size or lowering your cholesterol a few points, etc.) Shoot for many small, achievable goals, in the beginning, and continue to build those smaller goals together, in order to produce the bigger goal, later. Doing so will keep you motivated upon reaching each small achievement, leading to a bigger victory.

2) Keep yourself accountable, by tracking your workouts and daily eating habits in a
journal. It does not have to be anything fancy. A small spiral notebook will do.
You only do your fitness and nutrition program a disservice by trying to just "wing" it. If you do not have a clue as to where to start with your fitness program, hire a personal trainer for a few sessions to get you started.

3) Remain consitant. Make time for your program, by making it a part of your daily
life just like breathing, bathing, and brushing your teeth.

Hogan’s fitness articles have been featured in national published magazines such as Family Energy, Family Digest, and various health & fitness sites on the web. He has also been featured numerously on Houston's Fox 26, KTSU FM, and in Health & Fitness Sports Magazine. Visit www.joshonefitness.com or www.joshonefitcamp.com for more information.
