Earth 911 & NCTA Offer Local Christmas Tree Recycling Information

Earth 911™ (www.Earth911.org and 1-877-Earth911), the nation’s portal for local environmental action and information, has partnered with the National Christmas Tree Association (NCTA) to deliver community-specific Christmas Tree recycling information for consumers nationwide.

Phoenix, Ariz. (PRWEB) December 26, 2005 -- Earth 911™ (www.Earth911.org and 1-877-Earth911), the nation’s portal for local environmental action and information, has partnered with the National Christmas Tree Association (NCTA) to deliver community-specific Christmas Tree recycling information for consumers nationwide.

According to the NCTA, over 33 million real Christmas Trees are sold in North America every year. Consumers can access local information on recycling Christmas trees and other environmental resources by entering their zip-code into the Earth 911 portal (www.Earth911.org).

“Earth 911 provides the first and only national database for Christmas Tree recycling with over 3,400 Christmas Tree recycling sites,” said Anne Reichman, Director for Earth 911. “Our neighborhood-specific recycling information empowers individuals to give a present back to the environment – this holiday season and throughout 2006.”
