Lullalee Productions Receives Grant from The Verizon Foundation

San Bruno, CA (PRWEB) December 26, 2005 -- Lullalee Productions and Services today announced a partnership with The Verizon Foundation in recognition of its efforts to provide storytelling programs for the children of Skyline College's Children Center in San Bruno. What is the Program?
The Skyline Lullabook Story-telling Project is a program provided by Lullalee Productions & Services.
Early Childhood Education Students will plan and execute one-hour weekly story telling programs that engage children in reading and creative dramatic play. This project will focus on school readiness for children.
What are the outcomes of this Project?
ECE Students will receive hands on experience and earn 1 unit of COOP for special Projects. Students will complete observations, create lesson plans and develop their teaching skills. Student volunteer groups will be able to add community service to their resumes.
Each child will receive free books, enhance their reading skills and have “One on one” reading sessions.
