Limca Book of World Records Acknowledges Letters from World Leaders: By Arts Editor Pamela Faye

In 2006 Limca Book of World Records will acknowledge Indian Poet Nikhil Parekh with the Record in their book, for receiving the most number of replies/letters from World Leaders and Organizations, in Parekh’s fight for World Peace.

(PRWEB) December 31, 2005 -- Vijaya Ghose, Editor of Limca Book of World Records, confirmed the record in a letter acknowledging, “Nikhil Parekh of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has been writing letters to Heads of State and heads of World Organizations – till August 2005 – and has unduplicated replies from 30 World Leaders along with 83 unduplicated replies from World Organizations such as the United Nations, etc.”

Rolling verse not only to the fight for world peace but the fight against AIDS and the Conservation of the Environment and Wildlife, Indian poet Nikhil Parekh is the voice for the future crying out for a beleaguered world to hear.

With a New Year opening blank pages to unwritten history it is for the peoples of the world to hear the poet’s plea for world peace just as Heads of State, Presidents, Prime Ministers, and leaders of World Organizations have done, and Limca Book of World Records have honored.

When asked about his passion for writing pose, the Indian poet reflects, “Even if I die a hungry death, still no regrets as I will never stop writing poetry and doing what I am destined for on this planet. I will fight till my last breath, and never shirk back.” It is this dedication and passion, which drives Parekh onwards, seeking seclusion to roll the flow of words to chanting mantra.

Nikhil Parekh’s poetry is published around the globe. A lifetime of verse has been compiled in 53 published poetry books. All are available through Café Press and Lulu Press, America. For such a young man this is quite an outstanding achievement.
