MGSE Pitches Co-Branding as US Market Entry Strategy for UK Companies

In working with UK and European organizations, one of the things clients are interested in is how can they "partner" with a US firm? The benefits of co-branding and other joint marketing activities are meaningful ways for UK firms to achieve US market entry while maximizing their ROI (return on investment).

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) February 1, 2005 -- Stephen Esbin, founding Partner of MGSE, announced today the company has released an article titled, "US Market Entry: Co-Branding Strategies Are a Matter of Teamwork for UK companies." MGSE specializes in developing marketplace evaluations and facilitates US market entry for UK firms.

The article, written by Bob McCarthy, a Worldwide Associate of MGSE and President of McCarthy Marketing Management (M3), addresses the benefits of co-branding and cross promotion for small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) based in the UK. Mr. McCarthy says the article recommends, "that UK marketers explore how co-branding and strategic partnerships can facilitate their efforts for US market entry."

The article discusses how McCarthy's company created and implemented a co-branding and cross promotion program for Mattel's Barbie® and the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. McCarthy says, "We brought the two brands together to celebrate the Dodger's 40th Anniversary in Los Angeles and Barbie's® 40th birthday. The amazing thing was the success of the program enjoyed by these two disparate brands which took their respective industries by storm."

The article encourages UK firms to take advantage of US companies active interest in partnering with companies, and organizations, whose brands can generate additional excitement and awareness for their brand. The bottom line message McCarthy says is that, "Co-branding is a way for UK marketing executives to maximize their ROI (return on investment) and presents a genuine marketing opportunity for UK SMEs to partner with well known US brands to increase their awareness to US consumers."
