Repeling Global Data Terrorists Is Topic of Seminar Series in Saint Louis

World Trade Center Saint Louis Hosting Seminars to Help Thwart Domestic & International Hackers

Louis, MO (PRWEB) February 9, 2005 -- Every day, new Trojan horses,” worms, moles and viruses launched by data terrorists based internationally potentially threaten computer data systems at many organizations in the United States, including those with multi-national operations and overseas facilities.

To help business owners and info-tech professionals repel such threats and protect valuable data assets, World Trade Center Saint Louis is hosting a comprehensive, three-part series of seminars that will provide state-of-the-art data terrorist risk management strategies for small and large enterprises.

Info-security experts from Allied Intelligence, Inc., Lectern Secure Solutions, LLC and The Golgi Group, whose experience includes data risk management projects around the world, will conduct the seminars scheduled for February 16, March 2 and March 16 at World Trade Center Saint Louis.

Robert R. Heuermann, Jr., executive director, World Trade Center Saint Louis, said, These programs will render the most current insights available about data system security concerns that organizations of every size may confront from hackers and data terrorists working inside and outside the U.S.”

Michael S. Intravia, president of Allied Intelligence, Daniel M. Wilke-Grimm, principal with Lantern Secure Solutions, LLC, and Mark K. Murdock, a principal of Golgi Group, will conduct the seminars with assistance by Clayton G. Braun and Scott C. Winter, who are principals with Lantern Secure Solutions and Golgi Group.

Intravia has worked in more than 70 nations and been featured on ABC-TVs 20/20 for travel security and business intelligence services provided by his firm Allied Intelligence, a full-service corporate security company. Wilke-Grimm and Murdock are both certified by the National Security Agency to perform INFOSEC assessments. Braun has project-managed application delivery infrastructures for Fortune 500 companies internationally. Winter specializes in evaluating new security threats and tightening host security.

The three seminars are entitled: Information Security Challenges in Global Business” (February 16); Assessing Your Information Security Posture and Preparing to React” (March 2) and Information Security in the Internet Age” (March 16).

Each will open at 7:30 a.m. with registration and Continental breakfast, followed by the program from 8-11:30 a.m. Fees per seminar are: $70 for World Trade Center Clients or $90 for Non-clients.
