Fathers-4-Justice Has Arrived in California

Fathers-4-Justice, a shared parenting reform movement, is holding a rally in San Rafael to allow parents who have not been able to see their children a public forum to say "I Love You". The Queen of Purple Hearts and other Superheros will be on hand from 3pm to dark on the corner of Irwin and 3rd in San Rafael.

(PRWEB) February 10, 2005 -- The legislature intended that the child's best interest was best served by children maintaining a loving, meaningful relationship with both parents. Is it in the child's best interests to deny them the love of their parents or grandparents? Is it in the child's best interests that their parents are forced onto welfare or effectively asset stripped fighting protracted legal battles when they have no hope of seeing their children because Judges refuse to enforce their own orders? Often the very people who proclaim to be acting in the child's best interest are those who profit the most. Money (often savings, salaries, equity in property) for your children quickly becomes an income stream for Attorneys, Judges, and a grotesque gravy train of other 'experts'. Outcomes for children have never been worse.

Parents have the legal right to the care and custody of their children in this country. But in the Family Courts across the country, this essential and inalienable right is often ignored, to the detriment of our nations children. To embrace rights for all the family ® children, mothers, fathers AND grandparents including an open, accountable system of Family Law open to public & legislative scrutiny.

BLUEPRINT FOR FAMILY LAW F4J has published it's 'Blueprint for Family Law in the 21st Century' for the UK, a radical and visionary document that proposes a top to tail revolution in family law.

Come and Join the Queen of Purple Hearts and other Superheros committed to the reform of Family Law in California, the US and around the World.

Monday, February 14, 3pm
Corner of 3rd and Irwin
San Rafael, California

MANIFESTO For Justice in Family Law

1 FATHERS 4 JUSTICE is a new civil rights group campaigning for truth, justice and equality in Family Law for children, their parents and grandparents. Children growing up without fathers, mothers or grandparents is an obscenity and social catastrophe waiting to happen.

2 We support a child's right to see both parents after separation and demand AN END TO THE SYSTEMATIC REMOVAL OF ONE PARENT (mostly fathers and their families) by the so-called Family Courts, for no good reason. Children need BOTH parents.

3 We demand the AUTOMATIC RIGHT to enjoy a meaningful, loving relationship with our children and grandchildren, and support Parliament's intention in the 1989 Children Act that SHARED PARENTING become the normal form of order issued in the Family Courts. All parents should be assumed to be fit, loving, caring parents unless proven otherwise.

4 We advocate the dismantling of every element of the existing grotesque, cruel, unjust and unaccountable Family Law Industry and the REMOVAL OF ALL EXISTING FAMILY COURT JUDGES to be replaced by a fair, just and transparent system of justice based on the principle of equal parenting and our rights to family life enshrined in the European Human Rights Act.

5. Fathers 4 Justice will seek to EXPOSE MISCARRIAGES OF JUSTICE carried out in secret in the Family Courts, and bring them to the attention of the public in defiance of the courts.

6. We CHALLENGE THE GENDER BIAS INHERENT IN THE FAMILY LAW SYSTEM against fathers that results in them paying for children they are not allowed to see, homes they are not allowed to go to, their lack of access to publicly funded legal aid and legal representation whilst resident parents (mostly mothers) enjoy unlimited public funding, often used to deny the non-resident parent (mostly fathers) access to their own children for no good reason.

7. We support research into the cost to society - a LEGACY OF CRIME, SOCIAL DECAY & SUICIDE left in the wake of a generation of children growing up denied access to their fathers, and the effects on fathers of being dispossessed not only of their children, but often their homes and economic means of survival.

8. Our aim is A NEW DECLARATION OF RIGHTS FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS to be incorporated into UK Law, supporting their right to enjoy a meaningful, loving relationship with each other, and the establishment of a more just division of family income and property after separation.

9. To this end, and in the face of an intransigent judiciary, a morally bankrupt system and complacent government, we believe in non-violent direct action against ALL areas of the family law system to raise awareness and combat family law injustice.
