DyLogic, developers of the most feature-rich and innovative platform for interactive video services, on Monday unveiled that its PSE Media Server platform is the foundation for All New Video's 3G and IP video services portfolio. The PSE Media Server platform is a comprehensive solution for the deployment of audio/video interactive applications in IP (H.323, SIP) and 3G (H.324M) networks. Available since 2002, it supports industry standard protocols and interoperates with all terminals ranging from high-end videoconferencing systems to consumer 3G mobile phones.

All New Video's Video Answer phone application, which debuted in December 2004, is based on DyLogic's PSE Media Server platform. This carrier class service is used today by Orange UK to terminate video call traffic when a 3G subscriber tries to reach another subscriber who is unavailable.

"DyLogic are a key partner in the delivery of our products and services. Their mature and flexible solutions have enabled All New Video to create new and exciting interactive services for a variety of customers. In addition, they have demonstrated exceptional video expertise and their partner support has been faultless" said David Atkins, CEO of All New Video. "The goal of All New Video is to deliver interactive video services, both for communications and entertainment, over any broadband connections - whether wireline, wireless, or mobile."

"During the time we have been working with All New Video we have been really impressed by their understanding, commitment and success in lowering the total cost of ownership in deploying and managing the necessary infrastructure for multimedia and video telephony delivery over 3G networks" said Cristoforo Mione, Head of Sales for DyLogic. "We believe their strategy of offering managed VAS services to 3G operators is the successful key in today's fast moving marketplace."

All New Video's Video Answer Phone Explained

The interactive application developed by All New Video, in partnership with DyLogic, for Orange UK provides a Video answer phone service for both 3G and 2G subscribers. As easy as leaving a traditional voicemail, the new service will allow callers on the Orange 3G network to record a short video message when the person they phone is unavailable to take the video call. The message is then sent to the person as a short video MMS message. This MMS message function will allow both 3G and 2G users to receive the messages.
