New version of the popular deskbar application, ToolButton, eases the RSS learning curve by adding an auto-RSS Reader on the desktop.

ToolButton Deskbar users can retrieve content from RSS feeds without having to know about confusing RSS terms like XML" or aggregators". The deskbar ensures locating feed content is easy because of an Auto Discovery feature that can detect and search RSS feeds on web sites. Even easier, clicking on an RSS graphic or RSS feed URL on any web page will auto-launch the RSS Reader, displaying the contents of the feed like any other web page. Surfed feeds can be easily scheduled for automatic updates by following a few simple steps similar to adding a bookmark to Favorites in Internet Explorer.
The RSS reader presents users with the familiar Office 2003-like look and feel. The confusing and cluttered look of the raw XML of an RSS feed is hidden and all feeds are presented in a Pre-View mode similar to many email applications.
The search bar provides access to a menu of over 80+ search engines conveniently organized in 8 categories from Finance to Reference. There is no need to open a browser to do a search because the search bar is always visible no matter what the user is doing and search text can be dragged n dropped from most any application.
The automatic form filler can be customized to include separate personal profiles for business or personal information and can be easily customized for any web form.

Users and Web Masters wishing to install the ToolButton software may freely download the software at www.ToolButton.com. The software includes the ToolButton Deskbar and a series of default Buttons to demonstrate the flexibility of the software.
